Interesting Phenomena - Spammers Giving Legit Traffic

Average: 5 (3 votes)

I noticed something interesting today. I was checking the stats for one of my sites which had been hit by spammers and I hadn't had time to clean it up for about a month. What I saw was some of the spam comments actually got ranked on google and were driving real traffic to the spam posts.

So an interesting thought, if you could rank a legitimate site and get spammed a lot, could you turn spammers effort into revenue for yourself?

Enom WTF? Are you playing games with my expired names?

Startup Advice from Dragon's Den (Doug Richard) - 6 Rules

Average: 3.7 (6 votes)

The 6 Rules
1. Build something people want.
2. Which group of people do i sell to first? The best are small, narrow segments that are growing quickly.
3. Choose your industry and market.
4. Some industries are terrible.
5. No-one starts a business by themselves. No-one can do everything a startup needs. Start with the right people around you
6. Know the people you need to know. Networking.
